Throughout the year Thirsk & District Business Association will be hosting numerous networking event in Thirsk and the surrounding areas.
Our business events are a mixture of relaxed and informal networking and are open to all whether you are business owners, employees, managers, volunteers or apprentice.

September 2011 – it seems a whole lifetime ago!
2. What led you to start a business/how did it all begin?
I’d been in my job as Head of Marketing for the Yorkshire Agricultural Society (The Great Yorkshire Show) for about 5 years and the challenges that I had been brought in to sort out
The Thirsk & District Business Association Business Expo is our largest event of the calendar year and is back at Thirsk Racecourse on Thursday 22 October 2020. The purpose of the event is to connect and support local businesses and bring them together.

Thirsk & District Business Association are exploring new ways to promote our local businesses and members. With this in mind, we will be launching a bi-monthly magazine call KEEP IT LOCAL THIRSK.
The magazine will be Royal Mail delivered to all YO7 postcodes alternative months starting in July* (6 editions per year). Only businesses based in/or servicing the YO7 postcode areas will be permitted to advertise, so no national advertisers will be included.
The publication will contain a newsletter from the T&DBA
