In this month's SPOTLIGHT feature we talk to Chad Campbell from Cleancore UK.

1. When did you start your business?
April 2018

2. What led you to start a business/how did it all begin?
After working for other people for 15 years with little appreciation, I decided to set myself a goal to work for myself and build a business to be proud of, I decided to create something different, there is a lot of companies in Thirsk offering general cleaning services so I set up the first exterior cleaning company that Thirsk has ever had. Cleancore UK is the only company of its kind offering full exterior cleaning service's from roof to ground and everything in between.

3. What do you like about Thirsk?
Thirsk is situated in the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire and it’s where we all call HOME! I’m proud to raise my family here and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

4. What is your most popular product/service?
Pressure washing is probably my most famous service.

5. What other local business do you support?
In the short time Cleancore UK has been around it has offered free exterior cleaning services to schools and the blue cross in Thirsk and will keep giving back to our community wherever we can.

6. What is the best part of your job?
Meeting new people every day is the best part of the job. Gaining people’s trust and then exceeding their expectations.

7. What is the best piece of advice you would offer a new business in Thirsk?
Know your market, have a plan, execute the plan and give it everything you’ve got.

8. Fun/amazing fact about your business people might not know?
Cleancore UK are the pioneering company who bought soft washing to the North East of England and into Thirsk! 10. What does the future look like for your business?
Every building that is lived in or worked in can be soft washed! The potential for growth is endless and this budding business with huge aspirations and a desire to try new and exciting things will do all it can to make a success of it.
